MEMTREVE is designed around keeping your own notes, images, documents, and other saved material under your control. The Mac application is built around local storage rather than a required online account for your personal memory collection.

You choose the content you add. Take care when importing sensitive documents, receipts, photographs, or identifying information.

Syncing between iPhone and Mac

MEMTREVE Mobile Pro can transfer captured content through Apple iCloud when you use its syncing features. That transfer is handled through your Apple account and is subject to Apple’s iCloud service and privacy practices. Items waiting to sync may remain on your device until a connection is available.

Purchases and Pro activation

If you purchase MEMTREVE Professional, purchasing and license activation can involve an external commerce and licensing provider. That provider may process details needed for payment, fulfillment, licensing, and purchase recovery. Payment-card handling is performed by the payment provider, not by this website.

Activating a license requires an online connection; a successfully activated Professional license is designed to remain usable offline.

Website information and simple statistics

Memtreve.com uses a small, privacy-conscious statistics system to understand how many browsers visit the site, which websites or campaign links brought visitors here, and how often someone initiates a MEMTREVE download. A download click does not confirm that the file finished downloading or that the app was installed.

To estimate unique visitors without an account, the site stores a randomly generated, temporary browser identifier in your browser’s local storage. This identifier expires after 30 days. The site also uses session storage to remember a referral source as you move between pages. These statistics do not require advertising cookies.

Our statistics database, operated using Cloudflare infrastructure, records the event type (visit or download), the referral source when available, the temporary identifier when available, and the event time. The statistics system does not intentionally store your name, email address, or IP address in its event records. Referral information may be missing or unavailable, in which case a visit is counted as direct or unknown.

The website hosting provider and Cloudflare may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect their services under their own privacy practices. If you follow links to other services, those services’ privacy practices apply.

Your choices and questions

You can choose what you import into MEMTREVE, whether to use iCloud syncing, and whether to purchase Professional. If you have a privacy question, please use the support or contact information included with the MEMTREVE application.
